The Changing of the Guard takes place on even days in March so 2nd, 4th, 6th etc. except Sundays. The new guard march into the castle at around 10.50am and the old guard back out of the castle at around 10.20-10.30am

Tourist Guides

There are reports of unregistered 'guides' taking groups around the town and into the castle. Always ensure that your guide is a Blue Badge registered tourist guide, that they hold the Green Windsor Castle Accredited Guide badge and most importantly have full public liability insurance.
