February 2012

The Changing of the Guard takes place on 'even' days in February so 2nd, 4th, 6th etc. There is no guard change on Sundays. The new guard march into the castle at around 10.50am and the old guard march back out of the castle at around 11.30am.

January 2012

The Changing of the Guard takes place on 'odd' days in January so 3rd, 5th, 7th etc. There is no guard change on Sundays. The new guard march into the castle at around 10.50am and the old guard march back out of the castle at around 11.30am.

Tourist Guides

There are reports of unregistered 'guides' taking groups around the town and into the castle. Always ensure that your guide is a registered Blue Badge tourist guide, that they hold the Windsor Castle Accredited Guide green badge and most importantly have full public liability insurance.
