St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle closes at 1pm on 4th September.

The Changing of the Guard takes place on odd days so 1st, 3rd, 5th etc. There is no guard change on Sundays. The new guard march into the castle at around 10.50am and the old guard march out of the castle at around 11.30am.

Tourist Guides

There are reports of unregistered 'guides' taking groups around the town and into the castle. Always ensure that your guide is a registered Blue Badge tourist guide, that they hold the Windsor Castle Accredited Guide green badge and most importantly have full public liability insurance.
